I actually noticed this 3 months ago when the Norwegians announced that 2008 was 500,000 square kilometers short of the 2007 figure at the same time of year. Any idiot could see from the photographs that there was in fact more sheet ice. It really goes to show how a theory, AGW, can take precedence over ones lying eyes and goes a long way to show that liberals may be marginally mentally ill.
