Last time I was in NYC, I bought a panoramic pic of the NYC skyline. It’s about 30 inches wide by 8 inches high. Coolest fucking thing I own.

When I was in college, I made friends with a local guy who is a collector of antique leather, which includes firefighters’ boots. He owns a pair of FDNY boots - I can’t remember how he got them, but the original owner wasn’t dead, I don’t think. Anyhow, they still had concrete dust and debris from Ground Zero on them, and he had them proudly displayed as the centerpiece of his collection.
