If you can, talk your mom into going with you.

You do not need to put up with violence. Point blank - your dad needs help. If he doesn’t realize this and/or won’t do anything about it, leaving or calling the police is necessary.

Do you have any connection to a local university? You might be able to get advice from one of the profs in Psych/Social Work/Phil if you know any. Look around locally, there should be access to help lines and temporary shelters.
