I had serious questions about Hillary’s electability because of her past. I gained tremendous respect for the woman over the course of her campaign, but I knew that too many people wouldn’t be able to look past her husband’s philandering ways, the undeserved criticism of Benghazi, and the utterly ridiculous emails.

I still like Hillary but I do think she faced a tough road. That said, she was the best candidate the Dems could have nominated. Anyone who believes Bernie would have won is wrong. The way Bernie was performing with critical parts of the Democratic base wasn’t a good sign. Plus, I think Bernie is naive AF in many way. I have no idea who the best Dem will be in 2020 but it won’t be Bernie. Thankfully we don’t do “Next Dem up” like the Republicans did until Trump.
