I just had this conversation with The Kid this morning. We have ice here in ATL and he was going to go into work (they sent him a text as he was leaving telling him to stay home) with ice on all the windows and he only cleared off a little of the driver’s side windshield. Nope. So I made him sit there and warm up the car and handed him an ice scraper, lol. Once he got in the car and tried to back up he realized he should listen to Mom on this one since he couldn’t see a damned thing til he got the ice off the back window.

Yep. Even with a car port we still end up with snow on the car (wind tunnel effect) I clear everything while the card is warming up. Rear window defroster are great, but you still need to clear the side windows (and mirrors) as well.
