I’m still reading The Wages of Destruction, about the economics of the Nazi Regime. Until now, I had not learned of the Reich’s Hunger Plan, which was to systematically starve every non-Aryan in the occupied territories to death, both to provide more rations to Germans and to open up those lands for German resettlement. It was slow-motion genocide, and official Nazi policy.
