I’m back from town, with a whole Smart full of sweet corn. We’ll be spending a couple days canning corn.

In the meantime, all the conspiracy theory floating around from every corner of the Innertubz on how this or that rich person got a hit out, or someone paid a guard to look the other way, or all sorts of other conspiratorial nonsense with no evidence to claim powerful or rich people had him bumped off seems to ignore one fact:

a) All those apparently extortionist DVDs the FBI seized in the raid on his safe (plus any other evidence they got).

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. CNN notes about 18% of people ON suicide watch manage to commit suicide. Epstein was never going to get out of jail. Never.

Plenty of people who are not as high profile sentenced to life in prison commit suicide.

I’ll wait for some evidence that it was something else.

In the meantime, my useless Republicypher Senator Ben Sasse drew the short straw on being outraged in a letter. Big whoop. Where were you about the shootings, Sen. Sasse? We thought you were kidnapped you’ve been so quiet recently.
