More people support impeach and removing Trump and than they did Clinton. I’ve seen polls consistently at about 50%. To put things in perspective Bill Clinton was at 29%. And this whole deal is much more serious than Bill perjuring himself over an affair. Plus more stuff comes out. You need to impeach Trump now not in the hope the Senate convicts but you create a precedent against future power hungry executives. Would it be nice if the Senate convicted? Absolutely but you can argue that Senate Republicans have ignored Trumps wrongdoings purposefully. Nothing in the hearings has strengthened Trump’s defenses. A lot has weakened it however.
