Hmmm, yes, but it’s (supposedly) adult women who worked for him, and it seems significant that it came out because someone (else) was trying to blackmail him, not because one of the women was filing a sexual harassment complaint. (but who’s to say we won’t find out about prior incidents where it was harassment and the woman was paid off.)

You’re right, but it’s also often true that for someone of Letterman’s fame and position, women are lining up. Even though he’s a douchebag.

We’ll see. These are staff members we’re talking about, though, not casual acquaintances. This sets off alarm bells in any company, and it does for me as well.
