No, you are not necessarily embracing the left if you reject the right. There is a reason there are registered Independent voters.

I suspect you’ll see a lot more Independents now that the religious right have hijacked much of the conservative and Republican agenda. They have done a huge amount of damage to the right.

But there is a very big problem: Huge number of issues. Two choices. That sucks.

“Well, would I rather have a giant bureaucracy set up to take money from me and give it to other people I don’t know for reasons I don’t approve, or tell people who are homosexual they aren’t allowed to live their own life?”

Why do I have to make that choice?
