I think at this point the campaigns really aren’t trying to convert anybody, they’re playing to their respective bases. Painting Mitt as an evil heartless capitalist and portraying Obama as an evil socialist who hates free enterprise. I don’t think there’s a whole lot of appeal to moderates or swing voters in either ad campaign.
