Sounds about right. But the geniuses in the House will talk about what they are doing, and that isn’t going to play well. Dimwits like Louie Gohmert, Steve King et al. cannot be trained to be non-offensive.

I don’t really consider it a serious effort at the moment, mostly because the media’s hailing it as some grand “concession” by the GOP to acknowledge the need for a path to citizenship. Even had a wingnut post a link to a WSJ editorial, which (predictably) is accusing Obama of not really wanting reform because he hasn’t “reached out” to Rubio.
