Hearing Celtic music and I know our other Celtic music fans can relate. It makes me think about my ancestors in Ireland but it also makes me think about having a future there at the same time. Quite a paradox. I’m sure my family who fled the Potato Famine would laugh their ass off about them hearing about how many Americans and others of Irish descent have gone back “home.”

#3…Tra Va Ruggit Creest, is simply one of the best authentic Celtic Christmas tunes I have ever heard (and not simply a warmed over 20th century standard played with a fiddle etc). Guard playing a wire strung Clarsach is one of the best treats to give yourself.

His one time student, Emma Christian, is now helping speard Manx Celtic harp music as well.
