When you look at the GOP bills to repeal Obamacare in the past, the majority are simply ones that identify the PPACA enabling language and repeal it. A handful simply create sunset/repeal dates for the PPACA (including the one that was vetoed by the President last year), and donât offer anything approaching replacement.
That would repeal everything, including funding for Medicaid, Medicare, and all the other changes that people like, need, and actually rely upon but donât realize are part of the ACAâs suite of improvements to health insurance.
Now that theyâre actually faced with task of repeal, they now have to figure out what to do.
Thatâs why the GOP better way/better plan is total vaporware. Heck, vaporware suggests that thereâs something there. They havenât even drafted a repeal, let alone replacement. The GOP simply donât know what theyâre doing - but theyâre going to do it fast. And in the middle of the night. Thatâs how they roll in the Shire.
