I’m going to be too nervous to watch but I can’t imagine I’ll get any work done that day. There’s a march from the St. Paul Cathedral to the State Capitol on Saturday and I’m planning to take the bus to the Capitol for the rally. I don’t think I should stay at home.

I won’t be watching.

There are no such protests within a couple hundred miles of here. Moreover, I still have local government things to do, but that doesn’t mean I don’t support protests.

My concern with such protests is if they either get out-of-hand or some group such as anarchists or others purposely tries to sew discord or violence. That would give our “law and order” GOP a stick with which to beat “lawless liberals” and enact legislation against civil liberties that would be a nightmare.
