While pundits like Chris Cilizza are fawning over the “new Trump” this morning - because he read a speech and didn’t sound like the crazed asshole he really is - I can’t help but wonder how his red-meat starved base took it. I suspect a lot of Trumpers were watching their TVs and saying, “Who the hell is this guy?”
