Customer service in action.
My wife recently bought something from an E-bay seller in Canada. She got a survey from E-bay asking about her satisfaction about the transaction - in Polish.
She double-checked to ensure this wasn’t some sort of phishing scam (it really did come from E-bay).
The questionnaire didn’t ask for any personal information from my wife - but she did respond in the comments section asking “why did you send this in Polish?”
