It’s always best to praise people for their doing something right; otherwise, given the abuse they will receive, they may decide it’s not worthwhile. Flake may have been a jerk to date, but it doesn’t hurt to encourage him and other Republicans to do what is moral and maybe eventually they will truly adopt policies that will be good for our nation.

I wouldn’t tell anyone else NOT to praise Flake for this action, weak as it is.

But me… I’m done with all these Republicans, and especially the ones who try to pose as “reasonable” and say things that sound like they’re denouncing Trump, then go back to work and vote in favor of every one of Trump’s policies. These people are literally destroying much of what’s good about the US.
