The racism is going to get worse as the country gets less white. For comparison’s sake, the 2000 census showed the population as 75% white, in 2010 the census showed the country as only 63.7% white; but a big part of that is because in 2000 they didn’t count Hispanic/Latino as a separate racial category.

As soon as the white percentage seems close to dropping below 50%… Hispanic/Latino will be broken into hispanic white, hispanic black, and mestizo or indigenous. The white hispanics will suddenly become just white, and there they are back in the majority again.

It’s how the Irish became white. It’s how Italians became white. Jury’s still out on whether Ashkenazi are white.
