Pellet stoves burn fuel very efficiently. I can go through 300 lbs. of pellets before I clear my ash catcher. And they stay hot even when it’s really cold. Granted, that’s with electricity.

For the blower, I assume. Son wants to be off-grid as much as possible, so I’m not sure what his plans for heating are. Right now, he doesn’t have a job, so a cabin is only a dream so far.
