I can see an argument in building and development businesses where the terms of financing and/or the contents of negotiations could be considered trade secrets of a sort.

Trade secrets law is fairly wide open, if you declare something a trade secret and have someone sign a document saying it is a trade secret, then it’s basically a trade secret.

But it’s very, very weak… and mostly information that will come out at some point.
