I think comments like what Mr. Barton said are exactly why you’ll never see me voting for candidates like these. They act like they are somehow more moral by virtue of being social conservatives somehow more moral than social liberals. I’m sick of this crap. They act like liberals and secular people can’t be good, moral people and htat is probably why I became disgusted with religion in the first place when I was in my early teens.

I agree. Religion is no guarantor of moral fiber.
