I am just giving him a (teensy) bit of credit for not advocating what a lot of Dominionist whackos out there want to do, which is to abolish the Consitution outright and replace it with the Ten Commandments.

I just don’t see that “gimmee”. Mostly because he’s not so far off from the other and I think if he got his wish, the next move would down a Christian road. No offense to Christians, but I’m not one.
