It’s pretty obvious to me that he does not have any legal representation that is even slightly familier with the messiness of shooting cases. This thing almost reads like a “Mirror Universe” Massad Ayoob story - where the lawyers do everything wrong in the worst of all possible ways. Even though I’m quite convinced of the guy’s guilt, he deserves competent council and a fair trial. He’s certainly not got the former and I doubt the latter can happen any more thanks to the local PD.

Sigh. Where’s a young John Adams when you really need him?
