I’m just laughing. One of the main freeper arguments is that “Romney can’t win,” which has every potential to become a self fulfilling prophesy. The GOP has been courting, and stoking the anger of these crusty old hateful shits for a long time while ignoring the fact that the very hatred they’ve inspired has rotted away at the foundational stability of their party. Not only are women running away in droves but they’ve turned what was a dependable (if deranged) demographic into a worm ridden, structurally unstable crutch threatening to snap under Mitt’s weight.

Poor ol’ Mitt. I admit I kind of liked “liberal Mitt”. He reminded me of Huntsman. The Rockefeller Republicans. Definitely more liberal then their southern cousins. Yet, it’s almost impossible for a Republican to win a national race without appeasing the proverbial and infamous base. So, he morphed into “wingnut Mitt.” Yet one moment he’s eating grits and the other he’s having a arugula salad. He confuses the shit out of the well known internet wingnuts such as the Freepers. They’re heartbroken since they wanted to see Jim DeMint get the nomination.

Myself I would have preferred a real Rockefeller Republican even if it was just to listen to since it would be easier to my ears.

And now? He trots out Ann Romney. She just got a Twitter account started. Her first Tweet?

I made a choice to stay home and raise five boys. Believe me, it was hard work.
