Seriously though, I saw another photo of Roof today—the sneering smirk was gone and he looked a bit haggard. I couldn’t help wondering if, now that he’s had a couple of days to sleep on it, the full weight of the reality of how utterly he has destroyed his life is finally bearing down on him.

I doubt it. He’s probably disappointed that he didn’t get to go out in his blaze of glory like he’d planned.
