That has always been my problem with the conservative economic approach. It also throws a wrench into Reagan’s other one “Government is the problem.” Of course, as you know, the government’s size under Reagan went up big time.

I still picture the commander of the USS Ronald Reagan, which was sent to Fukushima to offer tsunami aid, presenting his credentials and stating “We are from the US government and we are here to help you!”
