Observation on the Chuck Woolery thing:

Lenin was ancestrally Jewish on his mother’s side and likely it was never discussed because of the implications in the cultural milieu. He was raised Russian Orthodox and at one point he was in a seminary. Karl Marx was ancestrally Jewish on his father’s side, but raised in a household that had converted to Lutheranism.

So either Chuck is stupid or Chuck is claiming there’s some kind of ephemeral “Jewish” quality that persists (in the form of Communism) across generations. My money’s on the gif of the kid saying “Why not both?”

Thing is, this is an example of systemic antisemitism regardless of intentions. It hearkens all the way back to the mistrust of conversos in Spain (and likely even before that, but my knowledge is not comprehensive), but more explicitly echoes the reasoning used by the Tsarist Russians and the German National Socialists.

In short: this is a claim made by garbage people, for garbage reasons, with garbage evidence. That is all.

What Woolery is getting at is the old “Judeo-Bolshevism” canard.
