I suspect it’s cheaper to stay shut down than to run games with empty stadiums.

Even when things calm down, people are going to be staying away in large numbers from crowded sports or concert venues, cineplexes, amusement parks, cruises, airports and airliners.

There will be no “resetting” this economy and getting it back up to pre-corona levels any time soon, even if we remove restrictions.
