There hasn’t been anything left of conservatism politically since Reagan left office. That’s when they ran out of ideas and completely atrophied.

If the GOP is to survive as a party, they have to join the rest of us in accepting every bit of social and political progress since Gutenberg invented movable type. They can’t keep going with their magical thinking, proud ignorance, and insistence on shitty, discredited economics.

There still remains plenty of disagreement on what is progress and which policies are dead ends. Therefore I reject your post, save for its last sentence. That one is indeed true, but the other three are not.
