My sister’s dog ate a grape and she went crazy, “Grapes could kill him!” She was trying to make the dog throw up and she was calling pet emergency hotlines and crying. She really thought a grape could kill her dog.

I consider myself very lucky to have a friend who is a vet and willing to provide second opinions/verification that the vet isn’t screwing up for her friends. (She actively will not take friends’ pets as patients.)

It means I can save the freakouts for serious shit.
