BTW, while there shouldn’t be organized atheism in a philosophical sense (aside maybe from conferences and such), there sure as heck should be orgs that protect the rights of unbelievers. The believer privilege is real.

No shit! Nobody bats an eye when a believer tells an atheist, “You’ll have to stand before God one day!”, or the oh-so-condescending “I’ll pray for your eyes to be opened”. Proselytizing is perfectly fine, as is telling atheists we ‘deny God’ so they can do bad things with no consequence.

Try doing the reverse, as an atheist. No, we’re expected to ‘respect other peoples’ beliefs’, especially those who don’t respect ours.
