I dunno. Some of the people who now call him a liberal and RINO were some of the same people who dismissed any criticism of him as unpatriotic but I think it was just GOP team loyalty in hindsight.

Oh, it was definitely Team R loyalty. A whole lot of people in this country view politics the same way they view sports - if their team wins everything is great, if the other team wins everything is terrible, and the other team probably cheated.
