He was a veteran too. A veteran who had gotten in trouble during his service because he refused to conform to segregation.

When I was in Brooklyn in August, I saw that a museum focusing on his life is set to open (not sure when). Looking forward to visiting. Although I no longer watch baseball, I’ve always admired Mr. Robinson’s legacy and loved the movie “42”.
