Okay. I get where you’re going with this now. It frustrates me too. If I’m arguing with someone online about something and I think they are bullshitting me (happens a lot), I don’t feel that compelled to do a search and get some info in order.

If we are discussing things in this forum for example, I will go out and do some work because I believe we all operate in good faith. Even if I can’t find that source that’s vaguely buried in my brain from years ago, I can usually find something else.

If I cant find anything, I certainly understand if some folks retain some doubt. One of the neat things about the internet is having experts so accessible. I know what the historian Kruse is schooling Dinesh on and could make the broad points but I certainly can’t do the receipts as quickly and effortlessly as he can. Seeing experts strut their stuff on the internet is profoundly cool to me.
