Here in Czechia, vaccine passports for domestic use were pre-emptively struck down by the Constitutional Court. They straight-up told the government, “Don’t even fucking think about it. Equality is absolute and there can be discrimination based on health status.” In that ruling, they outright blasted the Health Minister for “acting like a Roman Emperor.”

The government can ask businesses to check their customer’s vaccine status - but they cannot order them to do so. And no business here checks their clientele’s vaccine status.

Fair point, though I could argue that there is at least the possibility that demand from private businesses might lead to vaccine passports becoming a thing. As opposed to here in the US, where red state governors looking to possible ‘24 bids have declared that businesses cannot even consider such a thing.
