The press made up their minds years ago, which was to buy into the talking points about “ruining his life” and “this is just sour grapes!” If an investigation into Kavanaugh’s background check and his finances was announced at 8am today, by noon the presstitutes would be waiting for the GQP-approved talking points about how any investigation is invalid because it’s “partisan,” and by the evening news it would be accepted that the whole thing is just another “witchhunt” to “destroy Trump’s legacy” by removing one of “his” justices from the bench.
