The National Review has just really devolved. Even three or four years ago, I can remember there being some smart conservatives in their comments sections. Now, it’s just a wall of stupidity. The entire discussion thread on their recent article about Biden not being informed before the raid is one of disbelief. “if Biden didn’t know, he should fire people.” “If Biden didn’t know, it’s likely because he’s too senile to be told.” It’s a basic tenet of American government that the president nominates the AG but does not in any way dictate what the AG investigates. And yet this is mystifying to these know-nothings. Man, we need a Teddy Roosevelt for this generation to take the Republican party and just shake out the ignorance and bigotry that have eaten it.

I thought it has always been an extremely racist rag. Among other faults.
