Oh, and by the way, when you get through with the Beggars series, Connie Willis has got a diptych based in the Domesday Book milieu that takes place in London during the Battle of Britain and the Second Blitz (V-1s/V-2s). It’s pretty Killer Bee so far.

Oh, I’ve read (listened) those. Her last two, Black Out and All Clear were hands-down immediately put into my top ten of all time. Absolutely an amazing writer. I’m glad I listened to them on Audio, I think the written version would have been to confusing for me. The narrator did the different characters superbly.

Did you read the “Bishop’s Birdbath” (I can’t remember the name of the book) one? I LMAO. Was it Three Men and a Boat?
