I think my favorite part of this plan is its utter obliviousness.

95% of all the land in Texas is privately owned. To build that giant, impenetrable wall, Trump would have to seize all of the land along the Rio Grande via that conservative bugaboo of eminent domain. Then he’d have to force the government onto the land they DON’T seize so that they can move equipment, workers and supplies to build the wall.

Good luck with that.

That’s why Trump wants Mexico to pay for it, and I assume place it on the Mexico side.
