re: #89 William Lewis

I can find a whole lot of articles from the 20’s saying similar things about the Paperhanger.

And never forget that to these freaks the Shoah was a feature not a bug.

The big difference between the Germans and the British is what the populace was behind. The German people were complicit in the German’s treatment of the Jews. Rather than protesting what was happening, they went along with it because they were doing better than before the Nazis took power (or at least they thought they were). The British government lost the will of the British people. And that’s how the non-violence helped India.

There are two events that happened to the US that caused the US to go the way of the British and not the Germans. The first was violence in the South. Once it ended up on TV, most of the people didn’t want that being done in their name, even if they didn’t particularly care for blacks. The second was the Tet Offensive. We won the battle and lost the war because people were no longer willing to put up with the killing done in our name.

Of course we could lose the battle for public opinion. But the current bunch of misfits isn’t up to the task, and plenty of Americans are out countering them with larger groups, and elections are going our way. But the one thing that works against our side is the actions of the aggressive parts of Antifa.
