On 9/11 I arrived at the state motor pool to get a car and one of the workers made a comment about an airplane doing something and I didn’t know what he was talking about. Then I turned on the Howard Stern Show and listened to coverage for an hour while I drove to Louisville for child support hearings. It gave me a moments pause to go into a tall building, though I knew it was very unlikely terrorists would target Louisville.
