I may be in the minority here, but it sure looks to me like Jones got a “gotcha” question and didn’t want to answer it, which is understandable. I think my position, if I were coming from where he’s coming from, would be similar - “let me get to DC and start working on the issues that affect Alabama.”

Wasn’t this a big part of what took Franken down so fast - the media starting a running scorecard of “which Democrats are calling on him to resign right this minute?” and not giving Dems any oxygen to discuss any other issue?
