Hard to predict, really. On the one hand left to their own counsel that’s almost certainly what the combative members like Jordan would be prone to attempt, on the other hand the optics and blowback would be terrible. The fact that we haven’t seen any of the dirt Trump promised about Vindman come out tells me that they couldn’t come up with anything. My tentative guess is that they’ll try to focus on the reliability of his recollection, especially in regards to hearing the word Burisma, because Vindman and Williams undermining the validity of the “transcript” upends Trump’s last vestige of a defense.
