My answer to all these “Leave Trump alone” bits is always going to be the same: The decision to investigate and (if necessary) prosecute Trump or his underlings should be left to the relevant agencies. It is no more right for Biden to order those agencies to give him a pass than it was for Trump to demand they engage in fishing expeditions against his enemies.

It would seem Mr. Eliason at the Washington Post is getting quite a bit of pushback over that hot take.
