The only restrictions that should be put on abortion are on later-term abortions where there aren’t serious health risks. Apart from that, it’s absolutely nobody’s damned business to question a woman’s responsibility for her own body.

In that sense, I guess I’m an absolutist, because I wouldn’t put any restrictions on early abortions. There should be generous resources for women who don’t choose abortion. But the government should keep their blue-nosed Republican busybodies out of it.

I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to see somebody take this stand.
