I thought it was pretty amazing that the Republicans gained a few seats in the state house- which was an aberration compared to the rest of the midwest. I don’t know how they salted the ground of your state’s politics so well.

The right owns the media in this state lock stock and barrel. I’d also say most people here are racist as well.
