Back in 2013 Chief Justice John Roberts declared in his majority opinion in Shelby County v. Holder that racism was no longer a prevailing issue in American life. John Roberts needs to fucking get out more.

This is a police officer in Weirton, West Virginia who thought it was okay to display a lynching in his front yard on Halloween.

Nope — what he really declared was that stopping racism would interfere with getting Republicans elected so it was to the GOP benefit to outlaw any attempts to increase voter turnout among minorities.
