I am highly recommending this article about the influence of the “prophets” on the charismatic / Pentecostal section of the electorate. Julia Duin goes back to 2015 (and before) to discuss the roots of this “prophetic movement” and the fallout from Biden’s election and the insurrection. We also learn how utterly wretched a good number of the followers of the “prophets” are.

This is the kind of article I would have written if I’d had the time and access to do it. Most of the stuff Politico publishes is garbage, but Julia Duin has a long history of reporting on religious issues.
