Monoclonals don’t work against omicron.
Monoclonals don’t work against covid if you don’t administer them early enough in the infection.
DeSantis has made testing more difficult, which means it takes more time to find out if you’re sick with covid, closing the window for administering the monoclonals.

In other words, every step of the DeSantis approach is disastrous and does nothing to stop/slow spread of covid. It does actually appear that DeSantis was trying to manipulate stock prices of the company producing said monoclonals.
